Gulliver’s Travels Slot Basics for Online Casino Players

Gulliver’s Travels Slot Basics

Gulliver’s Travels is a work of fantasy prose with a strong hint of satire, written in 1926 by Irish author Jonathan Swift.  Swift wrote prolifically on human nature, and Gulliver’s Travels is his best known full-length literary work.  Gulliver’s Travels is traditionally grouped into the “travellers’ tales” genre – a highly popular subdivision in English literature.  The story is written in four parts – A Voyage to Lilliput, A Voyage to Brobdingnag, A Voyage to Laputa, Balnibarbi, Luggnagg, Glubbdubdrib and Japan, and lastly, A Voyage to the Country of the Houyhnhnms.  Many of the elements described in the first of the four voyages, namely the one to Lilliput, are depicted in the Gulliver’s Travels slot.

Gulliver’s Travels slot functions different to typical slot games and online slot games, in that the payline system is altered during the game, by the appearance of the Megalines symbol on reels 1 or 5, or both.  One Megalines symbol doubles up the 20 initial paylines, to 40 paylines.  Two Megalines symbols catapults the game into the 243 ways to win style.

Gulliver’s Travels slot is an online video slot and can be played for free or for real money.

Gulliver’s Travels Slot Graphics

Gulliver's Travels Online Slot Symbols

Gulliver’s Travels Slot Symbols

Symbols are based heavily on the creatures inhabiting the land of Lilliput, with even the playing card symbols fashioned into traditional Lilliputan weaponry.  Other themed symbols include a copy of the Gulliver’s Travels book, a palace, a balcony, barrels and more.  The balcony and the palace are highly lucrative symbols, awarding 2 500 and 3 750 credits for a matching combination of 3 or more, respectively.  The book and barrel symbols roll in at 1 000 credits each for the same combination.

The Megaspins symbol is the wild symbol, and makes appearances on reels 1 and 5.  The wild morphs into all other symbols in order to complete winning combinations – all except for the scatter symbol.

The scatter symbol depicts Gulliver pulling a ship.  The scatter will fall onto reels 1, 3 and 5, and triggers the Free Spins Bonus Round when landing in a combination of 3 or more anywhere on said reels.

Slot Free Spins Bonus Round

The free spins bonus round is initiated by the player choosing any ship from a selection of 3.  The chosen ship will reveal the number of free spins won.

Each ship also conceals a different multiplier.

The Flip Out Feature

The Flip Out Feature is another of the slot’s unusual features.  After each spin presenting with a winning combination of symbols, the winning symbols will be replaced by new symbols, appearing at random.  The wins will continue to tally until such time as no more winning combinations are formed, after which normal play will resume.
